Best Bitcoin Wallet?

Hello Guys,

I am looking for the best Bitcoin wallet.
Which one would you like to recommend?

Thanks in advance!

@John, Wallets come on different platforms with different features. Some wallets may be geared towards security, while some wallets may be more focused on privacy. Your specific needs should determine the wallet you use, as there is no “best bitcoin wallet”.

Storing Bitcoin is just as important as buying it. With a wealth of options available, which is best? See some comparison here https://money.usnews.com/investing/investing-101/articles/2017-11-06/best-bitcoin-wallet-of-2018

"There are two types of bitcoin wallets- hardware wallets and hot wallets. The hardware wallet is a physical device which is connected to your computer, laptop, phone or tablet. You need to connect the device to your PC or smartphone to spend or transfer the bitcoins. The most popular hardware bitcoin wallets are Ledger Nano – S, TREZOR and KeepKey. Hardware wallets are safe and secure as the private keys are kept away from the internet connected devices.
Another form of wallets is hot wallets, which run on the online devices like computers, tablet PCs and smartphones. These are less secure than hardware wallets as they generate the private keys on the devices connected to the internet. However, they are easy to store bitcoins, make and receive payments.

Though there are many of online wallets available for bitcoin i personally prefer using Electrum.

Greetings, @AdrianG001. Are you familiar with the Glacier Protocol? It sounds like you were a very early BTC investor, and this is said to be the most secure storage method for those who hold large sums of BTC.

The best are hardware wallets but there re so much lies about it. Just check this review. Might help

@afridylan Yes as per my knowledge.. The Glacier Protocol is “for the rich and paranoid”. It’s a high-powered security protocol designed for those who want to protect $100,000 or more in bitcoins. It takes a substantial amount of time, effort, equipment, and money to implement Glacier into your system. However, it’s a cold storage solution that can make your bitcoins virtually impenetrable to attack. Those who hold a lot of bitcoins have suddenly watched their assets skyrocket in value. This high value makes them a bigger target. If someone serious about protecting bitcoins, and want to eliminate any attack, then the Glacier Protocol could be the right choice for them !!

If you're looking to store big amounts of bitcoins go for a hardware wallet. If you're looking to hold a low amount bitcoin ready to transfer at any time I suggest you use Samourai wallet. It's got a great team behind it, supports segwit, rbf, stealth launch and it suggests reasonable fees.

Thanks for sharing, @BitMagura

I'm using blockchain.info. There were no problems, but most of the time I just sent them from the stock exchange to the stock exchange.

@al-rz This is also my favorite wallet.
I use is most frequently, even though I know I can't profit from forks (only Bitcoin Cash was supported)
But it's very comfortable to use it both on laptop and on mobile

very interesting the world of cryptocurrencies, I am new in this medium and the wallet that I use and it has worked well is HITBTC !!

Are you talking about the cryptocurrency exchange HitBTC? If so, all is working well until it isn't. I'd recommend another wallet method that gives you more control over your tokens. Have you looked into any other wallet alternatives, such as paper wallets? https://blockchainforums.info/topic/339/how-to-make-a-paper-wallet
