I had the opportunity to sit down and interview one of The North American Bitcoin Conference's speakers: Jeremy Gardner. Jeremy is a founder of Augur, and the blockchain education network among other things. At the conference; Moe Levin, the conference coordinator went onstage after Jeremys presentation to denounce the presentation and even went as far to say that Jeremy would never speak there again.
I asked him about the controversy in part 2 of the interview but I also encourage you all to check out part 1. Jeremy has a really interesting perspective on blockchain and how it will progress in the future.
